Rural house in Barcelona. This accommodation is one of the three buildings that make up the entire Masia complex, located in the heart of the Sant Llorenç del Munt i l’Obac Natural Park.
A unique place where you can enjoy unforgettable landscapes, the beauty of nature in all its splendor and the satisfaction of feeling direct contact with the tranquility and calm provided by the explosion of colors of sunrises and sunsets that can be enjoyed from the place.
Peace and harmony welcome to accompany the visitor throughout their stay.
The Masía was built, almost entirely, with the stones of the Rocafort Castle, which dates back to the 11th century. So the history breathes between its walls, giving way to the imagination to fly during the stay of the visitors.
This accommodation occupies the old manor house of the Masía, and has been restored and rehabilitated respecting its original state to the maximum, mainly the ceilings built with a Catalan vault (Catalan volta), a typical and traditional Catalan construction technique in which the lighting of a single ceiling light can cover the entire room.
The interior of the accommodation
This rural house occupies a single floor with a spacious 50m2 dining room that gives access to two 25m2 quadruple rooms. Both have their own bathroom, one of them adapted for people with reduced mobility.
Then on the first floor there are three other double rooms with their own bathroom, along with a reading and disconnection room
On the second floor there are two double rooms with an individual bathroom and a room where the little ones can enjoy games such as table tennis or table football.
In addition, the Rural House has a fully equipped kitchen with everything the visitor may need; hob, oven, microwave, fridge, dishwasher, washing machine, tumble dryer, towels ...
As well as the possibility of using the fireplace that delights the room with the heat and the cozy atmosphere that the embers and the fire provide.
It has the capacity to accommodate up to 29 people in comfort, which makes it the ideal place to enjoy a few days with family or friends.
The exterior of the accommodation
The Rural House has direct access to a 200m2 private terrace from which you can enjoy the incredible views of the valley, providing a unique place where you can relax and take a break from the routine.
In addition, it also has access to the outdoor pool where you can continue enjoying the beauty of the place while visitors cool off.
The common spaces that encompass the entire Masía, allow you to carry out different recreational activities, such as playing ball, table football, different games with children or, simply, walking around.
What to do in the area?
The magnificent location of this Rural House allows visitors to easily reach it from anywhere in Catalonia. Being only 15 minutes from Manresa, 30 minutes from Terrassa and Sabadell, 50 minutes from Barcelona, an hour and a half from Girona or Tarragona and two hours from Lleida.
Hiking is the best activity to enjoy from the accommodation, thanks to the fact that it is located in the Sant Llorenç de Munt i l’Obac Natural Park with more than 14,000 hectares full of nature, fresh air and animal life.
From the same house multiple excursions can be started, both free and signposted, with which you can enjoy a complete, relaxing and fun stay. Excursions to the Font de Portella, the Rellinars fountains or the Alzina de Sal.lari in the Balma de la Espluga are just a few examples of the many possible options.
Staying in this rural house opens up a world of possibilities to discover unique places that are impossible to forget.
