Description

Rural house in Berguedà specifically in the municipality of Sagàs. Peace and tranquility reign in Mateus's farmhouse. It is a detached house located in the middle of nature in the Pre-Pyrenees, which makes it a perfect house to spend a few relaxing days. It is ideal for excursions and discovering the landscapes of the area. The cottage has a maximum capacity of 20 people.

INSIDE

This rural house has been completely renovated inside and adapted to rural tourism to perfection, respecting the original construction. It has two spacious living rooms with sofas and TVs, one with a fireplace to rest by the fire. It also has a dining room with enough space to eat all around the same table, and with a view of the nature that surrounds the estate.

The rural house has a large professional kitchen, with double set of stove and dishwasher, fully equipped for maximum efficiency and comfort. We have a total of 8 rooms, all with complete private bathroom.

- 2 quadruple rooms with private bathroom (2 single beds and 1 double bed, separated by a door)

OUTSIDE

The country house has a large garden and an oak forest, so you can walk around, completely surrounded by nature. It also has a football and volleyball court, a swimming pool ideal for the summer months and a perfect barbecue for al fresco dining. The house also has spectacular views especially at sunset.

The location of the rural house is ideal for discovering the region, as a few kilometers from the village we find the best mountain and Berga routes. Access to the house is via a forest trail for the last 4.5 km. It can be accessed by car, as long as it is not a very low car.

We have the EU Ecolabel-certified rural establishment label, awarded to establishments that meet selective, transparent, efficient, and scientifically based criteria. Mateus is an isolated estate that is not connected to the electrical grid. This is why we have photovoltaic solar panels for our electricity consumption as well as solar thermal pannels for heating the water. Mateus is committed to renewable energies and ecotourism. We constantly develop activities that help promote respect for the environment. We help bring this ecological attitude beyond the requirements of current environmental legislation, implementing preventive measures that contribute to the sustainable development of the environment. We are committed to responsible tourism that contributes to the sustainable development of society. We have a waste collection system and recycling containers to facilitate segregation. When we segregate properly we avoid disposing products that damage the environment.
